CHILDREN'S FUND from city Bila Tserkva
The public charitable organization " Children's fund " is created in city Bila Tserkva, Kiev region, Ukraine in 1989. The basic purpose of fund - a help to children and a protection of the children rights. The tasks of the fund - an assistance to harmonious development of a rising generation, a creation of a condition for self-determination, self-realization, self-development of children in family, a support of the children - orphans and children without parental care,a development of the complex programs directed to protection of the rights of the child, a support of talented children, a establishment of contacts,an information interchange, a support and a coordination of actions with the Ukrainian and international organizations, funds, unions, which activity are directed on protection of the rights of children. The sponsors and friends of fund at present are about 50 establishments, organizations and private persons.
At present time at our city live and bring up the children - orphan, children,
suffer from heavy illnesses and deprived children in such city's establishments :
The children's house "Voloshka" - 59 children age from 3 till 7 years; the house
of the child - 57 children age from birthday till 3 years; the children's orphanage
"Consent" - during 2002 here was near 100 children; the children's house of the
mixed type "Materynka" - 84 children being the brothers and the sisters
of preschool and school age from the Kiev region; Bila Tserkva's children's house -
boarding school - 178 children, invalids and incompetent boys the age with 4 for 23
years, in 2002 here is open youth branch for such children from many regions of Ukraine;
the improving centre "Chance" - 153 children suffer from a children's
paralysis; in city there are 286 children - orphans living in families of the
guardians; on the account of a community "Ladushka" are 659 poor families
in which live 2237 children .
During of 2002 year the Children's fund worked for a realization of the urban complex program " Partnership for the child ". Within the framework of a realization of the project the basic directions of a work for the help to the children - orphans were determined ones which live at families of the guardians (about 300 children), an joint work with the rehabilitative center "Chance" for children which are sick on children's cerebral paralysis, realization of urban children's exhibitions of figures " Shine star,shine clear ".
In 1996 year was based the children's premium in the field of the literature and art
for talented children.
The special attention of children's fund on the requests of families about the help on
treatment of the seriously ill patients of children, on maintenance by products of a meal
of the children - orphans living in families of the trustees.
One of the basic directions of work of fund is the recovery of the children - orphans,
children - invalids, children from needy families. Due to an joint work with company of
many-children families "Ladushka" and fund " Revival of Chernobyl " in
2002 y. were made healthy of 46 children - orphans and 22 children - invalids in Germany
and 242 children - orphans - in Carpathians and Crimea .
The children's fund works with the children's house of the mixed type
"Ìaterynka", the local house of the child, the children's house
"Voloshka", the local house - boarding school for mentally retarded of children,
the rehabilitative center "Chance".
There are traditional to realization of city's holidays on the International day of
protection of children, Day of the mother, Saint Mykola, New Year's and Christmas's
spruces, a sports competitions for the children - invalids on carriages, chess
tournaments.
The participants of these events are the children - orphan, children - invalids, children
from many-children families, pupils of schools and pupils of preschool establishments.
At a zone of constant attention of children's fund is a urban shelter "Consent"
in which live children without family's attention. For them to conduct the concerts,
competitions, exhibition by forces of children's collectives of art amateur performance .
The long-term joint work is with the urban children's center of creativity of
"Sunflower". The pupils of this center participate in exhibitions of decorative
- applied creativity, figures, wooden products .
